It been 21 days since you last came over, I not sure why I call you, but I guess I really want to talk you. I had been looking at the ceiling listening to those songs that we used to sing for almost the past 3 weeks. And darling I guess I have run out of songs and tears after all these lonely night. Lying in bed night are forever without you.
I took the risk to call you, knowing that it can make things worst. Expecting you to answer the call, I run out of words suddenly when she pick up the call. Pretending that I call just do ask about how she cook her favourite dish. She answered me with a sore voice that cut my heart into half.
She said she forgotten how to cook for you and that you had change your taste for food and for her. Telling me that you get drunk so often these days and had not had your breakfast with her for the past three weeks. I feel and heard the tears from a woman heart when she told me that you have changed.
For a moment I did not know how to comfort her, not sure if I were to tell her about our relationships. There was nothing at both end of the line except sound of tears running down from two woman. I wept off my tears and tell her to be strong and that you will change, it just a matter of time. Quickly I say goodbye to her and tell her to call me if she ever need my help. In my heart, I know that if I were to help her I will have to stop calling and stop seeing you.
Again I lay myself on the bed and stare at the ceiling that had started to change color after so many days of raining. The had stop but my tears have not and started to flow again and I start to sing........... I am not talking about moving in, and I don’t want to change your life, but there a warm wind blown blowing the star around, and I really love to see you tonight.
As the song goes, memories of those raining night that we spend walking on the beach and singing in the rain keep coming to my mind. Those laughter of us playing with those warm water in the shower after getting our self wet in the beach. Feeling your strong arms carry me all the way from the kitchen to the bed.....unbutton me with your strong yet gentle finger.
Darling tonight I miss you...I want you to hold me and make love to me like you always do. Let your finger move all over my body, let me build my dreams in your arms again. Help me, help me make it thru the night. But then at this very moment I suppose she is building her dreams in your arms now. Nights are forever without you. The curtains still dance with the wind and the sky. The sun will be coming up soon, but I can’t sleep for thinking of you, here alone with the moon, with radio on sing.....
No I won’t ask for promises, so you don’t have to lie, we both played the game before, say I love you then say goodbye....... I really love to see you tonight.
